Course Description:

HUMAN RESOURCES & ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: We have as many as four distinct generations working side by side, represented by individuals who have different values, different ideas, and different ways of getting things done. An understanding of the generational distinctions allows individuals and teams to work more effectively. The purpose of this course is to provide a framework that helps to recognize the events and influences that shaped the four generations and the impact they have on the workplace. Participants will gain insights into the value of a multigenerational workplace and learn strategies to bridge the differences for better relationships and increased productivity.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define each of the Generations in the workforce
  • Identify the unique generational values and the impact on behavior in the workplace
  • Identify the generational clash points
  • List strategies to bridge the generational gaps
